Introduction

Plant Structure is an interactive, multimedia learning package developed at The University of Waikato, New Zealand.

The aim of the project was to produce an image-based reference and self testing multimedia teaching and learning resource on plant structure. It was devised by a plant physiologist as a resource to allow students to proceed beyond the catalogue stage of cells, tissues and organs.

The project was funded by the University of Waikato through the Vice Chancellor's Initiative in Teaching and Learning (VITAL), the School of Science and Technology and the division of Information and Technology Services.
